Things to consider:

• Menstruation may heighten pain threshold and sensitivities. Please plan accordingly.

• Use of AHAs and BHAs may increase skin sensitivity.

• Alcohol and caffeine prior to your appointment may cause increased sensitivity and more redness than usual.
